'' I am writing to tell you how much the Keela gear we wore on this trip actually made a huge difference to our enjoyment of the trip. To travel to Yosemite we wore the Paraguay Zip Off Trousers and the Venice Short Sleeve Shirt. It was going to be a long trip as we left Deeside at 07.00 Wednesday and we were due in Frensco at 21.40 US Times, Wednesday (05.30 UK Time, Thursday). As it happened the trip actually took until 12.30 US Time, Thursday (19.30 UK Time, Thursday) to reach Frensco due to bad weather in Atlanta causing us to miss connections. When we go to Frensco our luggage was missing. It arrived at our hotel at 22.30 just outside Yosemite. Depsite being very hot and sticky and extremely sweaty on a number of occassions the trousers and shirts still looked smart and fairly clean and were extremely comfortable to wear. The drying quailities of both items of clothing is absolutely brilliant. I know because I tend to sweat profusely. They were never uncomfortable even when soaking wet.
The Paraguay Trousers were worn on the ascent of Half Dome. We started at 5.15am and we all had the trousers on full length. Within a couple of hours we had zipped off the bottom half of the trousers and this was made very easy by the width of the legs and stretch in the material. They were really comfortable and did not chafe at all.''
