Reviews
Adventure Travels: Best in Test!:- "If anyone tells you that you have to break the bank to buy quality lightweight and packable kit, tell them they're wrong and use the Apollo as evidence. The Apollo uses a 750 fill down in stitch though chambers and, to help protect this in the wet, there's a weather–resistant outer with a water water-resistant finish. It'll stand up to brief shower but don't bank on it in a downpour. The Apollo comes with a stuff sack and you'll be hard pushed to find an insulated jacket that packs down smaller than this (a little bit smaller than a kitchen roll). As well as this tiny pack size the jacket weighs in at a very light 416g – the second lightest in this test. Combine the two together and the Apollo is looking like a great choice for a lightweight jacket to throw in your pack while hiking. It's not the warmest jacket out there but it'll do the job as a throw-over if you stop for a sarnie or as a mid-layer in colder conditions. It's also got two zipped hand -warmer pockets for extra warmth. All in all the Apollo is an impressive piece of gear for the price. For £99.95 you can get a jacket that'll be ideal for taking on hikes with you in cold-ish weather, but if you’re going to be in seriously cold places you might be better off looking for a warmer garment.''
